I attended the novena for St. Jude yesterday. Well It's not actually the first time I went to his shrine. But what's first? I bought my personal novena booklet.  It costs 20 pesos. But the return of it is so overflowing. For those of you who doesn't know St. Jude, Well he is the patron saint of desperate cases

His shrine is located at J.P Laurel San miguel Manila, near the Holy Spirit College and near La Consolacion College. For  those of you who are geographically impaired it is near the University belt in Mendiola, going to Malacanang.

St. Jude has granted all my wishes since i became his faithful devotee last year. Yes your wishes will come true. Pray hard to him and have faith. Well St. Jude is only an instrument of God of course. Though they are there to li sten to us, it is up to us whether they will grant it or not.

I am encouraging you guys who is hopeless out there to please go and be a faithful servant of St. jude. I am not speaking with heaven tongues here. But there is a piece of heaven in all of us.

I've also started processing Tabulas entries for the "Related" entries feature - for those of you who don't know, this is a magical feature which will try to find "related" entries that you've written. Sometimes it's accurate, sometimes it's not. But it's fun to see what entries will show up

I am so pissed because tomorrow we will have to wake up so early for the sake of going on the hospital for our duty. For the fact that i hate waking up early. But since it is 2009, well i guess i have to leave those attitude behind. You see i want to change the way how i see things as well as how i see people. Every person writes their own new year's resolution of have them in mind. But seriously, are they whole heartedly ready to face their new self.

I think for some it is YES. And this year also, I will try to enhance my english language. Of  course evry year is new year. Like the releases of new movies.

Actually, This counts as my Year-ender special. I'm tired to post into this blog my success, my failures or my whole 2008 happenings. I just want to re invent my blog this time as well as the entries posted here. I want you my dear readers to know who are my top picks for various categories. Yes this is my year ender special. The people for me who gave sense for 2008 and make the year a colorful one. But before that I just want to give a brief review of my 008.

2008 for Manoelster has become a mixed-emotion year. I think i have encountered all kinds of emotion this year. Another is that, again I am the one who designed the collge shirt for 2008. And this year marks the beggining of my first duty in the hospital where I get the chance to have and handle my very own patient. I have alot to tell but I really can't elaborate all, just view all my previous entries if you like. lol.

Here is the official list of Manoelster Platinum Fave List, a list of people, even or Place that really dominates the year 2008. This is my 2nd time posting my personal bets for various categories. And this time it's bigger. So let's start it up;

Let me begin for the Breakthrough of the year:
Well She's no other than Charice Pempengco, You see 2008 is the best year for her. From Ellen then Oprah then David Foster, Having a duet with the most powerful voices in the world like Bocceli and celine Dion. Truly this Young girl deserves the breakthrough of the year.

City of the Year. Of course the City of the Year goes to the city that exemplifies Transcendance and innovation and Taguig City is the best example of it. From the buildings, the Place, the Clubs, the condominiums, the landscape of Bonifacio High Street and a perfect place for concerts and events. Mayor Tinga surely is proud of handling this powerful city.

Artists of the Year: Rihanna really goes beyond the music scene. 3 songs that hit the chart, amazing concerts globally as well as that album w/c sold million of copies worldwide. This good girl gone bad really deserves to be the Female artist of the year. Then next is Chris  Brown, this young boy is a great musician.His album Exclusive sold million of copies also. WOW. And the two of them in concert, wow a whooping 70, 000 people crowd up in TAGUIG.


Movie of the Year. Well there a lot of Movies of the Year for me, One is the Dark Knight w/c stars the late Heath Ledger, it is a curious movie because it is the last movie played by Ledger. Also is the romantic movie of the year, a story of Vampire EDWARD with his lovee BELLA, it is of course TWILIGHT the movie. Which becomes so phenomenal.

Next is the Local Act of the Year. Give it up for Rico Blanco who's comeback became so much intruguing. And of course his Album "Your Universe". After disbanding himself to rivermaya, here comes Rico who's songs debuted to no. 1.

Local T.V series of the Year. With the lines Dirty Mistress in Dirty Brown, Gold digger in Red. Surely Iisa pa lamang became our daily companion every evening. With all those fuzzy lines and characters, we became incline for such.

Gadget of the Year. IPHONE is the best with all its drooling and thrilling features. Apple Iphone gave us a hint of how's 2009 be dealing with gadgets and of mobile phones.

 

Everyone has their own set of bets of who's who and what's what in 2008. But for me this are just the few headturners last year. I will continue to be the blogger I can be for 2009. I would like to thank those people who believe in me and those people who continues to support me. 2009 is a year to look forward to. Have a bountiful New Year. And I wish that this year, will be a year for bloggers to be on the top. Philippines is the BLOGGING CAPITAL OF ASIA, and i will never get surprised if we will be the capital of the world for blogging. Cheers to a better new year.

One of the bigger complaints I've gotten about the control panel redesign is the lack of accurate hit logging. To that end, I've added back one of the more popular features for patron accounts: viewing your recent visitor traffic logs.

Because of server limitations, you can only view your last 72 hours worth of data, but the data it provides should give you a better idea of where your traffic is coming from.

Check it out in your control panel.

What about starting the year with the newest offering from Sony Ericsson. Yeah, you've heard it right, I manoelster is a gadget analyst and reviewist. Well I've been using my walkman phone from sony ericsson for almost one year, And crap the quality itself is damn awesome. And now Sony Ericsson is about to unveil its greatest creation. What am i talking about?

Clue it is a smartphone. What is it? It's the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1. Some of the features are quite old like a 3.2 megapixel camera good for taking those outdoor pictures and your vanity as well. A 65,536 color touch screen which I say is quite dull already because of some phones run through 12 million color display. Of couse it is a slider, with it's QWERTY keypad, surely business and pleasure is all in one hand and of course it runs through 3g network.

I personally get the chance of using this phone. And damn it's cool enough compared with Iphone which runs on Apple MAC OS. And of course for those Windows enthusiast out there, this phone has a say. Seriously. A 3 inches display is good enough right?. ANd of course those who are fond of going in STARBUCKS, where WIFI connection is strong, this phone can log on to your account on any wifi zones. YES! And of course images, songs, videos, Where should i store it? Don't worry my friends. This phone has an internal memory of 400MB. Yes. Other features of this phone are the 2nd camera used for video conferencing, FM radio for listening to your fave stations and an Organiser, Calendar and lots of other cool stuffs. It is availabale in black and silver.

And btw, what is its connection to me today. I have uploaded my new layout for 2009 entitled SUPERHUMAN. I hope this year will be a great year for all of us. And like the XPERIA, i hope that 2008 will leave us a great year of experiences that will help us grow and even learn more as we go to a new year, awaiting us. Last Saturday, my friend donna ,formerly known as Mayochan in this site, invited us to go to celebrate her birthday in the Mall (Market! Market!, Taguig). Well it's like a reunion for me. I saw my highschool classmates in their. It's just a simple yet full of food and fun celebration. We ate at Pizza Hut and ooh the newest Viva Italian Pizzas take off our plates. Well there's Jaja, Krizel, Mighty M, Kevin, Benedict, Jen, Martin and who knew, OTHAN is there. Softdrinks and plates of spaghetti run through our lavishing mouths. We are so full after eating. My stomach bulge to my shirt. And the birthday became more fun when we decidede to walk by at Bonifacio High Street. So fabulous. The lights are as bright as the blue moon. The decorations in each botique filled the night with mystery and creativity. We go home late yet, but i had a lot of fun wth my friends.

After Donna's Birthday, it was my uncles birthday yesterday, we celebrated at the DAMPA, at seaside, macapagal. The restaurant's name was SIS, it was a paluto restaurant near Claire De La Fuente's. Well tons of food feed our mouth. There was a sweet and spicy buttered saute crabs, adobo pusit, Lapu lapu filled with sauce, pink salmon, tempura, porkchop, sinigang na baboy, japanese style calamares and the all time PINOY's favorite RICE.    And don't forget the softdrinks, of course. After being fulled and eating, we decided to go to SM mall of ASIA to continue the fun. After that we go home.

It's always fun celebrating your birthday's to your loved ones. And to my Classmates in College who are celebrating their Birthdays this DECEMBER, HAPPY BIRTHDAY to you guys especially to Erlan and Ralph. After birthdays here's CHRISTMAS to be the next celebrated day, a birthday of which everyone knows, who's the celebrant is.
